Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all users of the CryptaTax platform. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Permitted Use
1.1. The Service is intended for lawful personal crypto tax filing and tax compliance purposes by individuals and tax advisers managing client data.
1.2. You may only connect wallets and exchange accounts that you own or that you are explicitly authorised to manage on behalf of a client (Tax Adviser accounts only).
2. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Connect wallets or exchange accounts without proper authorisation from the owner;
- Attempt to access data belonging to other users or accounts;
- Use the Service to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any other financial crime;
- Upload or submit false, misleading, or fraudulent data;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features or access controls;
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service except through documented APIs;
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without a written agreement with CryptaCount, Inc.;
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Overload, impair, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure (e.g., denial-of-service attacks);
- Use the Service to generate outputs for purposes of market manipulation or insider trading.
3. Data Integrity
3.1. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of data you provide or connect to the Service, including wallet addresses and CEX API credentials.
3.2. CryptaTax’s outputs are computational results based on inputs you provide. You are responsible for verifying outputs before use in tax filings.
4. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to info@cryptacount.com.
5. Enforcement
5.1. CryptaCount, Inc. may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including:
- Warning the user;
- Temporary suspension of access;
- Permanent termination of the account;
- Reporting to law enforcement where required by law.
5.2. CryptaCount, Inc. will make reasonable efforts to notify the user before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service, other users, or to comply with legal obligations.
6. Governing Law
6.1. This AUP is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
6.2. Any disputes arising under this AUP shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.
7. Changes
We will provide at least 14 days’ notice of material changes to this AUP. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
